Chicken Kiev with mashed potato and mushroom sauce (for 4 persons)
Ingredients
- Ishtar Chicken Kiev 400g
- 8 medium peeled potatoes
- 3/4 cup of cooking cream
- 1/4 cup of oil
- Salt and black pepper, if desired
Mushroom Sauce Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon of chopped fresh thyme
- 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- Salt and black pepper, if desired
Chicken Kiev preparation method:
- Melt Ishtar Chicken Kiev pieces and fry them in abundant medium heated oil for 8 minutes.
Mushroom sauce preparation method:
- Stir the oil and garlic in a frying pan over low heat for 1 minute.
- Add mushrooms, thyme, salt and black pepper and stir for 3 minutes.
- Add the vinegar, water and soy sauce and stir for 1 minute.
Mashed potatoes preparation method:
- Cook the potatoes in a covered saucepan over medium heat until they are tender.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them well with a fork.
- Warm the cream in a pot over low heat and remove it just before it boils.
- Add oil, salt, black pepper and potatoes, and mix together.
- Turn off the heat and stir with parsley.
- Serve the chicken pieces with mashed potatoes and spread the mushroom sauce on it. Bon Appetit
