Jordanian Msakhan with Sauce (for 2 persons)


  • Jordanian Musakhan with Sumac from Ishtar 300g
  • Half a cup of yogurt.
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  • 1 tablespoon of sumac.
  • Half a teaspoon of salt.
  • A quarter teaspoon of black pepper.

Preparation method:

  • Melt the Jordanian Msakhan with Sumac from Ishtar and grill it for ten minutes, then set it aside.
  • Prepare a bowl and add the minced garlic, along with salt, black pepper, sumac, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Add tahini and chopped parsley, and continue mixing until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Add yogurt and mix the ingredients well again.
  • Once finished, place the sauce in a small dish and serve it with the Jordanian Msakhan.
