Spaghetti with Dawood Basha Kofta Meat Rolls (3-4 Persons)


  • Ishtar Dawood Basha Meat Plate 400g
  • 1 packet of pasta
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • Boiling water
Pasta Sauce Ingredients:
  • 1 medium, peeled and grated onion.
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • 1 teaspoon of crushed garlic
  • Salt and paprika (if desired)
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • A pinch of sugar
  • 6 grains of peeled and grated tomatoes
  • 1\2 teaspoon of oregano
  • A pinch of basil

Preparation method:

  • Add boiling water, salt and oil in a pan.
  • Cook the pasta for 7 minutes over medium heat or until tender, then drain with a colander. (A little olive oil can be added to it, then leave it aside in the colander).
Pasta sauce:
  • Add oil and onions in a pan over low heat.
  • Sauté the onions until wilted.
  • Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, garlic, salt and paprika.
  • Cover it and leave it on medium heat for 30 minutes.
  • Mix the ingredients with a hand blender until the texture becomes creamy.
  • Add oregano and basil to the mixture.
Daoud Basha Kofta:
  • Fry the kofta with a little oil over low heat until it is tender and golden brown for about 10 minutes.
  • Meatballs can be dipped in sauce until they are flavourful.
  • Mix the sauce with the pasta, then add the meatballs.
  • Put it in a serving dish. Bon Appetit
